Have you ever wanted to follow a river from its headwaters to the sea?
Did you know that there are at least 1.5 million acres of old growth forest

What would it be like to think of New York City as an ecology, and to live

If environmental studies like this sound interesting to you, then the Flicker Institute may be just the place.
We are an organization dedicated to promoting environmental field studies in the northeastern United States by offering undergraduate courses in a variety of subjects, but all with a focus on the relationship between people and the natural world.
We do this because for us, the calls of the Sugar Maple, the Yellow Crowned Night Heron and the Horseshoe Crab have never been ones we could ignore, and so we wanted to go out to their wild and natural homes to learn and see as much as we can. Come join us for an experience that you'll never forget.
